What We
Offer
Service Dogs
Service Dogs of Florida is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing service dogs to disabled individuals in Florida at no cost. We are committed to providing long-term assistance to those in need by pairing qualified handlers with specially-trained dogs. It can take up to 2 years for us to properly pair a handler with a service dog. Our organization is based on the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the companionship and support of a service dog.
Emotional Support Animal and therapy dog training
Emotional support animals are not service dogs but provide companionship to those with disabilities all the same. We provide obedience classes to individuals with emotional support dogs.
Private classes
We provde private training classes as well throughout Florida. Please reach out for more information.
Support for Owner -Trainers
Our unique owner-training program provides handlers with the power to train their own dogs, providing them a dog much sooner than the 2 year wait time. At this time all costs are paid for by the handler. We are dedicated to helping those with disabilities gain greater independence.
Canine Good Citizen
We are proud to offer a variety of services, such as providing testing for AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, AKC Community Canine and AKC Urban CGC.
Group classes
We offer group classes for pet parents done locally in the Orlando area. Our classes provide a balanced method of training, finding the best tools and experience for each pet and owner.
